Constant Vanden Stock Stadion – RSC Anderlecht arena – stadium poster

Inside Astrid Park in Anderlecht lies Constant Vanden Stock Stadion. This iconic stadium is the home ground of the mighty RSC Anderlecht. Before moving here, the club played in Verheydenstraat without a proper stadium. But in 1917, what was originally known as Émile Versé Stadion was inaugurated. Initially, the ground only consisted of a pitch and a single wooden stand but was gradually expanded from 1935 to 1962. In 1983 Anderlecht’s growing status in European football led to a complete reconstruction of the stadium. Here, the stadium was also renamed in honour of club legend Constant Vanden Stock. This arena will always be the spiritual home of the ”Purple and White”.
