Odense Stadion – OB arena – stadium poster

Odense Stadion is the iconic home ground of Odense Boldklub, the pride of Funen. The history of the stadium began in 1931 when Odense Idrætspark was inaugurated in this location. However, the Odensians would have to wait until 1941, before a proper football stadium was complete. Odense Stadion then remained largely unchanged until OB’s golden age in the 1990s. Here the need for a modernized stadium arose from a series of incredible European triumphs, which culminated in the legendary “Miracle in Madrid”. Then in 1997, the new and current Odense Stadion was finished. Since then, the ground has been the heart of the community that is OB.
